

For Maria: Chapter 1“Do you know what it is you hold?” The entirely unexpected intrusion of a voice through the darkness startled Maria in a way that caused her to jump and nearly slip from the thick hard wood seat of her chair. With out missed beat, the young man turned, to face his solemn leader; "My Captain sir, of what then do you speak?"
